The Olympic Games were the greatest Pan-Hellenic athletic games of Ancient Greece. During the Olympics no war was contucted.
 They took place every four years in order to honor Zeus and started in 776 B.C. The Olympic Games continued until 393 A.D. and were abolished in 394 due to the imperial order of Theodosius A'. The newly Olympic Games performed again in 1896 in Athens and since then they take place every four years, each time in a different country, with great success.
